Another great read! How To Pick Up A Stripper by Todd and Erin Stevens

First of all, do not let this title fool you! This is not a seedy or racy book! It’s a funny, inspiring, and will touch your heart! Pastor Todd Stevens tells an honest account of his journey of giving within his own life, the life of his family, and in his church. What I love most about this book is that it isn’t a lecture, it isn’t trying to make you feel inadequate — it’s all about inspiring acts of generosity and kindness that meet people where they are and just how they are, and it encourages you to do it where YOU are. “Loving God and loving others are the most important things you could ever do”. No matter where you are on your journey of faith, you will find a practical and tangible idea to serve and share kindness with others and in those actions, you will be encouraging others to follow Christ. What we usually think of as evangelism doesn’t feel comfortable for everyone – but servant evangelism is loving others just as Jesus modeled. It is evangelism in its simplest and most genuine form. I will be sharing this book with everyone! What a better world it would be of everyone thought as Stevens suggests: “what would be the most loving thing to do in this situation?”
